It's been a long time...

Hello rock lovers! I am sorry for not making any new posts. Lately I've been busy doing school projects and studying for exams.

A few days ago I watched a movie named "Tenacious D and The Pick of Destiny." In the beginning of the movie a man named Ronnie James Dio comes out as JB's (Jack Black) idol, so I looked him up and he had some good songs.

Ronnie James Dio was born in 1942 and passed away a few months ago on May 16th, 2010 of cancer at the age of 64. Ronnie Dio started forming bands in his freshman year in University, but he started his musical career in 1957. His first band was called The Vegas Kings.
The band changed their names several times. The name went from Ronnie and the Rumblers to Ronnie and the Redcaps and from Ronnie and the Redcaps to Ronnie Dio and The Prophets. In 1976 the band disbanded after several members leaving from the band for some other bands.

Later on Dio joined three bands and formed two bands:
  • He joined Elf in 1969.
  • He joined Rainbow in 1975.
  • He joined Black Sabbath in 1979.
  • He formed his own band called Dio in 1982.
  • Finally Dio joined with Black Sabbath and made a band named Heaven & Hell in 2006.
The album Heaven & Hell was the last album made from Dio and Black Sabbath. I truly hope that Ronnie James Dio can be remembered as a legend for all the rock lovers out there.

This was one of the last song that Ronnie James Dio sang in and it is called "Atom of Evil" enjoy!
